N95 is one of the levels specified in 42CFR84 of the American standard

KN95 is one of the levels specified in the Chinese standard GB2626-2006

The technical requirements and test methods of these two levels are basically the same

N means Not resistant to oil can be used to protect non-oily suspended particles

95 means that the filtering effect is greater than or equal to 95%. This respirator can block at least 95 very small (0.3 micron level) test particles

What is the difference between the GB19083-2010 medical mask and YY0469-2010 surgical mask requested by the hospital in the epidemic area and the two standards mentioned above

First, GB stands for national standard, YY stands for pharmaceutical industry

Although they are all N95 grades, the standards of 19803 and 0469 are higher than those of 2626-2006. They are medical grade and can prevent blood and other body fluids. 2626-2006 is industrial dustproof.
